Focused PDF tools

/pdf/ के अधिकतर tools चुने हुए PDF को पूरी तरह browser में process करते हैं; application server केवल static code serve करता है और PDF upload endpoint नहीं रखता। PDF पर हस्ताक्षर करें और Fill PDF Form स्पष्ट exceptions हैं: same-origin, one-time browser handoff के बाद ये full FileCarpenter PDF Editor खोलते हैं और PDF को temporary editor session में भेजते हैं ताकि editor के signing engine से हस्ताक्षर लगाया जा सके या existing AcroForm fields update हो सकें, और परिणाम preservation-validate हो। IndexedDB में रखी handoff copy editor के उपयोग से पहले delete हो जाती है।

Full PDF editor

PDF Editor active editing session के दौरान selected document FileCarpenter application server को भेजता है। Structural checks, supported edits और validated export के लिए server-side processing होती है। Session data temporary है और inactivity के बाद expire होती है। ऐसा document process न करें जिसे संभालने की अनुमति आपके पास नहीं है।

Peer-to-peer transfer और Smart Send

File-transfer tool paired browsers के बीच file bytes भेजने के लिए WebRTC इस्तेमाल करता है। Signaling service devices को मिलाता और connection information relay करता है। Direct connectivity न मिले तो TURN relay encrypted WebRTC traffic ले जा सकता है, लेकिन FileCarpenter transferred file को uploaded object के रूप में स्थायी नहीं रखता।

Smart Send sender device पर selected media जाँचता है और WebRTC DataChannel से receiving browser का छोटा, temporary capability profile लेता है। इसमें platform/browser family, screen class, codec/image support, save APIs और coarse browser-storage/network classes जैसी broad categories होती हैं। Exact CPU count, exact screen dimensions, devicePixelRatio, full hardware fingerprint या exact free-disk bytes नहीं भेजे जाते। Generated image copies sender device पर बनती हैं और supplied server capability profiles persist नहीं करता।

Accounts, advertising और analytics

Supplied deployment user account नहीं माँगता और advertising या third-party analytics scripts शामिल नहीं करता। Operator भविष्य में analytics, advertising, logging या कोई external service जोड़े तो change deploy करने से पहले इस notice को update करना होगा।

Operational logs

Web servers और reverse proxies request time, requested URL, browser information और network address वाले छोटे operational logs रख सकते हैं। VPS retention operator policy के अनुसार configure करें और room passwords या PDF contents को access logs में कभी न रखें।
