Checking whether the original file is the best fit.
Best quality
Better compatibility
FCShare never changes your original file. Optimization only happens after you choose it.
No copy was kept anywhere.
FCShare bridges Safari on the iPhone and a browser on Windows without asking both devices to join the same vendor account. The iPhone file or photo picker controls what can be selected; the transfer engine sends the chosen file bytes and does not intentionally resize or recompress them.
For an entire photo library, recurring backups, album organization, or automatic HEIC conversion, use Apple’s supported import or sync workflow instead. This page is for moving a selected set now while both devices are present.
Leave the QR code visible on the PC screen.
Use the Camera app, open the link in Safari, then select photos or videos.
Choose where to save when the browser offers it and wait for completion before leaving Safari.
Recent iPhones may provide HEIC images or HEVC videos. FCShare transfers the file; it does not convert the format. If the Windows app you use cannot open it, change the capture/export compatibility setting or convert the saved copy afterward.
It avoids a cable and does not require signing the PC into iCloud. It is also temporary: there is no FileCarpenter photo library to remove later. The saved copy on Windows remains yours to organize or delete.
FCShare does not recompress the selected file. The exact item exposed by the iPhone picker is what the browser sends.
Yes, when the iOS picker and selected source permit multiple selection. They arrive as separate files.
The tool is better for selected batches. Use an official wired or sync workflow for a complete, repeatable library import.
